We take on any dog and any problem, but it starts with evaluating your dog to see if they’re fit for our Board & Train program. A lot of factors need to be considered like age, health, your training goals, and more. Get started here!

2. What training methods do you use at K9 Mania Dog Training?

Here at K9 Mania Dog Training, we believe dog training is not a one-size-fits-all approach. We reinforce a positive and holistic approach to dog training and take into account the dog’s environment. From there, we get to the root cause of the problem so we can correct bad behaviors in the healthiest ways possible.

3. How long will my dog be trained at your facility?

Our Board & Train programs are custom tailored according to the evaluation of your assigned dog trainer. Board and train programs can go from 3-5 weeks or more, and also depends on the training goals you’ve set for your dog.

4. How can I start the Board & Train process?

After the call, we’ll schedule a one-on-one evaluation, so our trainer can get to know you and your dog in person.

5. What happens in the Board & Train program?

Board & Train begins with you dropping off your dog at our facility in Deer Park, Long Island. The trainer will work with them every day and will begin developing a training relationship with your dog immediately to help them settle in, preparing them for effective training and when not in training, our kennel technicians will attend to their needs.

You don’t need to provide crates, bowls, blankets, or toys. K9 Mania Dog Training will supply everything necessary for your dog’s comfort during the training, except for their food and any specific medication they require.

We’ll schedule a midway session for you as well so you can come visit your dog and see their progress halfway through the program!

6. What do I need to pack for my dog’s Board & Train program?

You don’t need to bring your dog’s crate, bowls, blankets, or toys. K9 Mania Dog Training will provide everything necessary for your dog’s comfort during the training, except for their food and any specific medication they may require.

7. Will my dog remember me after their Board & Train Program?

Absolutely! Sending your dog to us for Board and Train is like sending kids to school or summer camp. We might be their cool trainers, but you’ll always be #1 for your dog. We understand that it’s difficult to send your dog away for 3+ weeks, so you will get 3 updates per week, with pictures and videos.

8. When does training start after I drop my dog off for their Board and Train?

Your dog’s training at K9 Mania Dog Training begins as soon as you drop them off. The trainer will begin developing a training relationship with your dog immediately to help them settle in, preparing them for effective training.

9. Do you offer refunds for your Board and Train Program?

Yes, we offer refunds. If you decide to withdraw from the Board and Train program at least 21 days before your dog’s scheduled drop-off, you will receive a refund for your 20% deposit.

However, if it’s within 21 days of the drop-off date, we can’t provide a refund for your deposit.
If you paid for the program in full and decided to cancel, you will only be refunded except for the 20% deposit
