Elliot Rosenberg
Elliot RosenbergDog Trainer and Behaviorist
Certified master trainer and behaviorist, Elliot Rosenberg, is the founder of K9 Mania Training. For over 10 years he’s rehabilitated and trained hundreds of happy dogs to compete professionally in obedience, tracking, herding, agility, and protection sport. Born in Long Island, NY, his love for dogs grew into a lifelong drive to understand the way they learn, connect, and communicate. Today he coaches dog trainers and pet parents on basic and advanced obedience, search and rescue, and behavior modification. Before K9 Mania, Elliot spent 7 years in Costa Rica training high-drive (working) dogs in a variety of dog sports. But his passion remains with the dogs and their owners, who are desperate for help. Highly skilled in the diagnosis of behavior issues in dogs with aggression, fear, and separation anxiety, Elliot puts together specialized individual programs to tackle each problem. Elliot joins positive reinforcement with balanced training methods to instill trust and respect in the dogs he trains. He also helps dog parents understand their pet’s instinct and how to read their body language. Elliot holds a B.A. degree in Psychology from Queens College, which helps him understand humans better too. In his spare time, he likes horseback riding, yoga, and hiking with his dogs to keep fit. His best memories are of his Dutch Shepherds, Momba and Sergeant, whom he trained in elite search and rescue, and his German Shepherd, Troy Hartis, who he competed with internationally in Schutzhund and IPO/IGP dog sport.

Jake Muller
Jake MullerDog Trainer/ Dog Behaviorist
Born in Oceanside, Certified Dog Trainer Jake Muller’s family are known for the exceptional show dogs they raise. Surrounded by these brilliant animals and their skilled trainers, understanding dogs became like breathing for Jake. With a passion for animals and the environment, he pursued a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Wildlife Management from the State University of New York. For the past 5+ years, he’s gained extensive experience in working with an array of domestic and exotic animals. For training, Jake draws from each of the areas he served in, from volunteering at the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area, to training and caring for wolves and other canids at Wolf Park, IN, and even as a New York City Urban Park Ranger providing environmental education and wildlife management. He is an unapologetic positive reinforcement trainer who believes that facilitating strong relationships between dogs and their owners is half the battle won. A fervent believer in giving the animal a ‘choice’ in the training, he’s an expert at reading and teaching body language.
